Do just that, end it , trying to be friends will be painful, seeing your ex even occasionally will only add to your heartache. Remember out of sight will eventually lead to out of mind. Stop focusing on the good times. You need to step into reality and realize your just better off without them. It's time to get over your ex. The reality is it's the bad times that got you where you are today. Think back on certain situations that you tolerated that you shouldn't have. No-one's perfect but we all deserve honesty, respect and most of all L-O-V-E- from our partners. If any of these are missing, then it's time to move on. Someone better is waiting for you so go and find them.
